Game Days at the Compound

The Compound, the name for the place were the One Small Step company lives, had game day every single Saturday from about 4pm to 2am the following Sunday. We have placed this event in abeyance for the time being, but we ARE holding game nights on Fridays at a secret, undisclosed location. Players can bring any games desired, but if they are brave enough to playtest our up and coming products, we buy all the food and bevies! Want to participate? Play is by invitation only. Compose an email telling us why you're the coolest person in your neighborhood, and we'll see about extending one of those way-cool invitations to you.

Game Conventions

OSS will have a booth at the GenCon game convention at the Anaheim Convention Center, December 2nd - 5th, 2004. At that convention we will be showcasing our newest release: Politics as Usual, Dan Verssen's comedic depiction of the road to the White House.

As usual, we will have our obligatory booth at the OrcCon game convention, February 11th - 14th, 2005, at the Los Angeles Airport Westin Hotel. We'll be running tournaments for Jaunty Jalopies/Motoring Madness, and maybe sharing peeks at some of our upcoming products. See you there.

Upcoming Products

Motoring Madness!

Motoring Madness, the long-awaited sequel to Jaunty Jalopies, has been shipping for several weeks, and should now be in your local hobby store. Go buy one!

Politics as Usual

Dan Verssen takes on the Road to the White House! Three to six players compete in a comical Presidential Campaign that's fun for the whole family.

Quest

Alpha Team is the first in our series of Quest games (referee-free role-playing universe-system). It is a science fiction and space opera. Players build characters and explore the universe. Modules for rogue traders, marines, scouts, and trouble-shooters are in the works.

Bravo Company

Bravo Company is One Small Step's first foray into the Miniatures market. Bravo Company is a deviously simple and rich system for creating and engaging in combats from any modern or future time, with a range of scales for models and figures. Each figure represents a single soldier or vehicle. The system uses individual, as opposed to formation, movement. Players can resolve combats between two to four companies of soldiers in as little as an hour. Oh, and it's realistic too.

Vigilante

Vigilante is the second edition of our first Role-Playing System. Action takes place from 1970 through the present, a grim apocalyptic future, and finally to a distant potential reality. Strong ties with the background material from some of our other titles, including BattleChrome and Alpha Team.

BattleChrome -- Zone 17

Zone 17 is our miniatures adaption of our BattleChrome card game. Players customize futuristic combat vehicles, engaging in arena or battlefield combats in the not-so-distant future.
